HABITAT ACTIVITY CENTER

The Habitat Activity Center is a 5,000 square foot workshop attached to our main offices used to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Miami and Shelby Counties construction and repair projects and host groups who participate in our sponsored playhouses, park benches, and picnic tables. Sponsors donate $2500.00 or more. $500.00 of that pays for materials used in the HAC. $2000.00 is used to fund our Home Repair program. Items sponsored this way and built in the HAC are donated to youth-serving organizations, parks departments, and non-profits in our service area. Dedicated volunteers spend Monday and Wednesday mornings helping with the sponsored projects as well as completing community carpentry and woodwork projects.
