Habitat Annual Meeting Recap

Habitat for Humanity of Miami County (HFHMCO) recently held its annual meeting at the Troy Hayner Cultural Center.  A wonderful time was had by all!  We had much to celebrate that evening, including the phenomenal progress we’ve made over the last year within the community.

Thank you to everyone who attended the annual meeting.  Many thanks to Brick House Cafe & Catering for the scrumptious meal, Brittney’s Cakes for the delightful dessert, and to the HFHMCO staff for the event planning and beautiful decor.

Enjoy taking a look at the recap, and watch for our upcoming posts where we’ll take a closer look at our new Board Members and Volunteers of the Year.

The board recognized Ralph CraigCarl AsherKaren Eliason, and Sam Brown for their dedicated service over the years.  Bart DenlingerJim McGarry, and Matthew Mottice were nominated and voted as members of HFHMCO’s board of trustees.

Ray Brown and Sandy Fisher were announced as Volunteers of the Year, and Nancy Anderson was named Honorary Volunteer of the Year.  We would like to offer our sincere thanks to each of them for showing a remarkable personal commitment, and for substantially impacting the organization.

Next, the “State of the Affiliate” address was given by HFHMCO Executive Director, William Horstman.  The “Plan – Execute – Grow” strategy was discussed and the mechanisms by which to rebuild, optimize, and expand the affiliate were defined.
