Letter from the President

As the president of the board of Habitat for Humanity of Miami and Shelby Counties, my mission is to promote Habitat’s vision of bringing people together to build homes, communities and hope so that everyone in the world has a place to live by seeking to put God’s love into action.

I would like to thank all of our volunteers from the bottom of my heart for all of the time, energy and hard work that they dedicate to the affiliate. Without all of the volunteer assistance, we would not be able to touch as many lives in the community.

If you have not volunteered at Habitat before we have many different ways to become involved: house builds, working in the ReStore, serving on committees, or even donating items to the ReStore. The door is always open to come and join us to give back to your community.

Habitat for Humanity of Miami County, OH board members oversee the direction of Habitat’s activities throughout Miami County as the organization works to eradicate substandard housing. Directors are elected to two-year terms that may be renewed four times. They do not receive any compensation for their voluntary service.
